Recently, politicians have been putting the blame for the recent spike of suicides on bullying. But what about bullying by adults? Does it exsist? As David said, a bully is someone who hurts others by:
- Making them feel uncomfortable.
- Hurting them by kicking, hitting, pushing, tripping, etc.
- Spreading nasty rumors.
A New York State senator has experienced this kind of bullying first-hand (and stood up to it). The Blaze has the story:
A New York state senator walked off the stage in protest during an anti-Semitic speech during the New York Muslim Day parade on Sunday.
When asked by Tom Trento, of The United West organization, why he left the stage, Democratic New York state Senator Tony Avella replied, “I was offended.”
